Title: "Vase of Sunflowers"
Artist: Marchel Yameliev
Technique: Oil painting on canvas, palette knife (3D impasto technique).
Concept & Narrative: The canvas "Vaza slanchogledi" by Marchel Yameliev presents a dynamic floral composition with three radiant sunflower heads bursting with life and light. Interpreted through the philosophical framework of Ascension and The Fall, the dense, seed-heavy amber and dark brown centers, grounded by rich green leaves, symbolize physical gravity, material fruition, and the earthly cycle of life (The Fall). In luminous contrast, the brilliant golden-yellow petals fanning outward toward the light embody the soul's untamed pursuit of the sun, divine clarity, vitality, and eternal spiritual Ascension.
Style & Execution: Masterful palette knife 3D impasto work. Each petal and textured seed head is sculpted with heavy, tactile layers of oil paint, giving the sunflowers a three-dimensional, physical presence. The palette vibrates with golden yellow, lemon, warm amber, and ochre, balanced by rich emerald greens and a light, impasto background with subtle pearl-violet undertones.
Why Invest: • Radiance & Vitality: A vibrant floral masterpiece bringing warmth, optimism, and timeless light into fine art collections. • Museum-Grade Quality: Crafted using the finest European oil paints on high-grade canvas. • Sculptural Impasto Texture: Tactile 3D paint application catches light dynamically, creating living depth across every petal.
Golden, ripe sunflowers. Beautifully arranged pastel range in the emotionality of the picture.
