Title: "Little Lilacs"
Artist: Marchel Yameliev
Technique: Oil painting on canvas, palette knife (3D impasto technique).
Concept & Narrative: The canvas "Liuliacheta" by Marchel Yameliev presents an intimate floral still life radiating delicate charm and springtime luminosity. Interpreted through the philosophical framework of Ascension and The Fall, the rounded glass vase holding water and rooted in soft shadows represents earthly containment, physical form, and grounding (The Fall). In radiant contrast, the sculptured violet and pink blossom clusters reaching upward, alongside the play of ambient light across the impasto backdrop, embody spiritual renewal, freshness, and the soul's continuous Ascension into the light.
Style & Execution: Masterful palette knife 3D impasto work. The delicate lilac blossoms are sculpted with intricate, tactile layers of oil paint, providing a three-dimensional, living presence. The transparent blue-turquoise vase catches shimmering highlights, while the soft pearl-grey impasto background enhances the vibrant floral volume. The palette features rich violet, lilac pink, emerald green, and turquoise blue.
Why Invest: • Intimate Floral Elegance: A beautiful, atmospheric still life bringing spring warmth and poetic lightness into fine art collections. • Museum-Grade Quality: Crafted using the finest European oil paints on high-grade canvas. • Sculptural Impasto Texture: Tactile 3D paint application catches light dynamically, creating rich textural depth.
Lilac bouquet with purple lilacs and a white lilac accent. The bouquet and the flowers of the plant are recreated in great detail and color. Impressive and emotional still life.
The composition creates a tight, balanced, yet exceptionally dynamic floral center, where the delicate transparency of the glass vase holds the energetic bloom of the lilac clusters. The color atmosphere unveils a rich spectrum of violet, magenta, and soft pink, enriched by crystalline turquoise-blue reflections in the water and fresh emerald green accents on the leaves. The structural language relies on pronounced plasticity and relief—the artist's unique signature shines through in the bold, sculptural application of oil paint with a palette knife, where each stroke carries a life of its own and catches the light from different angles. The expression of the canvas radiates springtime freshness, vitality, and deep spiritual power, transforming an everyday still life into a radiant celebration of matter and light.
