Title: "Makove s letni cvetia" ("Poppies with Summer Flowers")
Artist: Zhaklina Yamelieva
Technique: Oil painting on canvas, palette knife (3D impasto technique).
Concept & Narrative: The canvas "Makove s letni cvetia" by Zhaklina Yamelieva recreates the sunny joy and ethereal beauty of blooming wild poppies along the seashore. Interpreted through the philosophical framework of Ascension and The Fall, dense lush grass, stems, and rooted earthly foundation symbolize material stability, natural cycles, and support of existence (The Fall). In radiant, purifying contrast, crimson poppy blossoms rising above grasses, azure sea expanse, and ethereal light express consciousness purification, spiritual impulse, and continuous spiritual Ascension.
Style & Execution: Masterful palette knife 3D impasto work. The texture is built with plastic, sculptural layers of oil paint giving exceptional three-dimensional volume to petals and coastal greenery. The palette combines crimson red, velvety orange, emerald and grass green, cobalt blue, turquoise, and lime white.
Why Invest: • Inspiring Floral Subject: A beautiful composition blending the magic of wild poppies with an azure marine horizon. • Museum-Grade Quality: Crafted using the finest European oil paints on high-grade canvas. • Sculptural 3D Relief: Zhaklina Yamelieva's signature style gives flowers and sea surface tangible relief and painterly life.
The composition establishes a rectangular horizontal format filled with a extravaganza of wild red poppies and summer flowers blooming beside a radiant sea expanse. The color expression unfolds an exceptionally fresh and joyful palette—crimson-red and orange petal accents, grassy-green and lemon-yellow stems contrasting with azure-turquoise and cobalt tones of the sea and sky. The structural execution relies on delicate plasticity and Zhaklina Yamelieva's signature 3D palette knife impasto—the strokes sculpt individual poppy blossoms and shimmering foliage with fine relief, dynamic expression, and tactile presence. The canvas radiates summer air, vitality, and poetic harmony, transforming the floral landscape into a symbol of earthly support and the simultaneous aspiration of the spirit toward supreme spiritual Ascension.
Summer bouquet. The land is generous with flowers in summer and bright with colors. The poppies, sung many times by many artists, delighted us too, and here we present to you our impression of them. This bouquet with poppies and other summer flowers brings a lot of light and color saturation.
