Title: "Buket rozovi rozi" ("Bouquet of Pink Roses")
Artist: Zhaklina Yamelieva
Technique: Oil painting on canvas, palette knife (3D impasto technique).
Concept & Narrative: The canvas "Buket rozovi rozi" by Zhaklina Yamelieva presents an elegant floral still life featuring roses in glass vases. Interpreted through the philosophical framework of Ascension and The Fall, the heavy glass vessels at the base, horizontal plane, and dense green leaves symbolize material stability, earthly form, and grounding in matter (The Fall). In radiant, purifying contrast, the pink and orange rose heads blooming upward toward the light express emotional enlightenment, beauty, and continuous spiritual Ascension.
Style & Execution: Masterful palette knife 3D impasto work. The texture is built with plastic, relief oil strokes that impart unique tangibility and volume to every single rose and glass fold. The palette combines pink, orange, burgundy, turquoise blue, gold, ochre, and fresh green.
Why Invest: • Exquisite Floral Still Life: A harmonious and luminous composition radiating romance and sophistication. • Museum-Grade Quality: Crafted using the finest European oil paints on high-grade canvas. • Sculptural 3D Relief: Zhaklina Yamelieva's signature style brings painterly three-dimensional volume and exceptional tactility.
The composition establishes a square, highly refined and luminous format in which a bouquet of delicate pink, rich red, and warm orange roses is arranged across two glass vases—one tall and textured in turquoise-blue, the other ethereal and transparent. The color expression unfolds a rich, vibrant, and harmonious palette—pastel pink and ochre flower tones harmonizing with the deep blue-green of the vase and the bright, airy interior background. The structural execution relies on high plasticity and Zhaklina Yamelieva's characteristic palette knife 3D impasto—the strokes build the dense relief of petals, leaves, and reflecting glass surfaces. The canvas radiates poetic softness, grace, and spiritual flourishing, transforming the floral still life into a symbol of the earthly material foundation and the simultaneous aspiration of the soul toward supreme spiritual Ascension.
