Title: "Tri slanchogleda" ("Three Sunflowers")
Artist: Marchel Yameliev
Technique: Oil painting on canvas, palette knife (3D impasto technique).
Concept & Narrative: The canvas "Tri slanchogleda" by Marchel Yameliev recreates the energy of summer and solar brilliance through a vertical composition of blossoms. Interpreted through the philosophical framework of Ascension and The Fall, the earth foundation, green foliage, and dense matter of the stems symbolize physical grounding and earthly existence (The Fall). In radiant, purifying contrast, the bright yellow sunflower heads aspiring upward toward light express vitality, joy, and continuous spiritual Ascension.
Style & Execution: Masterful palette knife 3D impasto work. The texture is built with exceptionally thick, plastic layers of oil paint giving real three-dimensional volume to the blossoms and relief tactility. The palette combines sunny yellow, golden ochre, rich green, violet, and cobalt blue.
Why Invest: • Sunny Floral Subject: An inspiring vertical composition bringing warmth, light, and positive energy. • Museum-Grade Quality: Crafted using the finest European oil paints on high-grade canvas. • Sculptural 3D Relief: Marchel Yameliev's signature style makes the sunflowers physically tangible and three-dimensional.
The composition establishes a vertical format capturing three sunflowers arranged in a dynamic rhythm one above the other. The color expression unfolds a vibrant and sunny palette—rich yellow and golden flower petals, green foliage, and a contrasting violet-blue background. The structural execution relies on masterful plasticity and Marchel Yameliev's signature 3D palette knife impasto—thick, relief strokes sculpt the sunflower heads and petals with exceptional tactility and three-dimensional density. The canvas radiates vital energy, earthy succulence, and sunlight, transforming earthly roots and stems into a symbol of matter and physical existence (The Fall) above which the golden blossoms surge in continuous spiritual Ascension.
