Title: "Kokicheta v gorata" ("Snowdrops in the Forest")
Artist: Zhaklina Yamelieva
Technique: Oil painting on canvas, palette knife (3D impasto technique).
Concept & Narrative: The canvas "Kokicheta v gorata" by Zhaklina Yamelieva recreates the intimate impulse of life and the quiet victory of spring over winter stillness. Interpreted through the philosophical framework of Ascension and The Fall, the transparent glass vessel, earthly base, and rooted stems symbolize natural support, physical matter, and firmness of creation (The Fall). In radiant, purifying contrast, snow-white, gently nodding snowdrop heads radiating innocence and light express inner purification, spiritual resurrection, and continuous spiritual Ascension.
Style & Execution: Masterful palette knife 3D impasto work. The texture is built with plastic, sculptural layers of oil paint giving exceptional three-dimensional volume to delicate petals and light nuances around the vase. The palette combines pure white, ivory, golden ochre, fresh green, emerald accents, and warm beige tones.
Why Invest: • Poetic Spring Subject: A gentle, luminous composition bringing a sense of purity, new beginnings, and home. • Museum-Grade Quality: Crafted using the finest European oil paints on high-grade canvas. • Sculptural 3D Relief: Zhaklina Yamelieva's signature style gives petals physical relief and painterly life.
Snowdrops. Heralds of the Sun and the joy of new life. Loved by all can make you happy all year round.
The composition establishes a square, exceptionally delicate, and deeply intimate format capturing the first spring snowdrops set in a transparent glass vase against a warm, pastel background. The color expression unfolds a purifying and luminous palette—snow-white, lime, and ivory tones of the petals, fresh grass-green and emerald nuances of the stems, harmoniously balanced with soft beige-ochre and sandy background tints. The structural execution relies on delicate plasticity and Zhaklina Yamelieva's signature 3D palette knife impasto—the strokes sculpt the density of snowdrop blossoms, glass reflections, and the shimmering texture of surrounding space with relief depth and tactile presence. The canvas radiates pure joy, spring awakening, hope, and sacred intimacy, transforming the floral still life into a symbol of earthly support and the simultaneous upward drive of young greenery toward supreme spiritual Ascension.
