Title: "Autumn House" ("Esenna kashta")
Artist: Marchel Yameliev
Technique: Oil painting on canvas, palette knife (3D impasto technique).
Concept & Narrative: The canvas "Esenna kashta" by Marchel Yameliev captures traditional Bulgarian Revival houses enveloped in the warm golden tones of autumn. Guided by the philosophical framework of Ascension and The Fall, the solid stone foundations, dark wooden beams, and fading foliage reflect earthly decay, weight, and the passage of physical time (The Fall). In radiant counterpoint, the glowing white walls, rising chimneys, and sunlit golden tree crowns represent spiritual endurance, light, and the eternal Ascension of human heritage toward the divine.
Style & Execution: Masterful palette knife impasto work. Richly layered oil paint creates sculptural texture, making the stone walls, wooden balconies, and leaf canopy tangible to the eye. The color palette blends warm ochres, amber, golden yellows, and rich browns with crisp white and subtle violet-blue sky reflections.
Why Invest: • Cultural Heritage & Warmth: A historic landscape evoking peace, nostalgic warmth, and architectural beauty. • Museum-Grade Quality: Crafted using the finest European oil paints on high-grade canvas. • Sculptural Impasto Texture: Tactile paint application creates a dynamic play of light and shadow on the canvas.
