Title: "Chernomorets"
Artist: Marchel Yameliev
Technique: Oil painting on canvas, palette knife (3D impasto technique).
Concept & Narrative: The canvas "Chernomorets" by Marchel Yameliev captures a wide panoramic seascape where crashing waves, coastal sands, and a dramatic horizon meet in a powerful expressionistic harmony. Interpreted through the philosophical frame of Ascension and The Fall, the deep, dark indigo and purple ocean depths, along with heavy shore shadows, symbolize physical weight, earthly trials, and human vulnerability (The Fall). In radiant contrast, the sculptured, brilliant white foam, sea-spray reflections, and rising, textured clouds evoke inner cleansing, hope, and the soul's victorious Ascension toward light and freedom.
Style & Execution: Masterful palette knife 3D impasto technique. The panoramic format enhances the sense of vast open space, while rich, heavy layers of oil paint create a tactile, sculptural texture across the beach, waves, and sky. The color palette blends intense indigo, deep violet, and emerald under-tones with warm golden sands and vivid white highlights.
Why Invest: • Panoramic Seascape Presence: A striking horizontal composition that adds breath, movement, and elegance to fine art collections. • Museum-Grade Quality: Crafted using the finest European oil paints on high-grade canvas. • Tactile 3D Impasto Texture: Sculptural oil paint layers interact dynamically with room lighting throughout the day.
