Title: "Liatna abstraktna kartina" ("Summer Abstract Painting")
Artist: Marchel Yameliev
Technique: Oil painting on canvas, palette knife (3D impasto technique).
Concept & Narrative: The canvas "Liatna abstraktna kartina" by Marchel Yameliev recreates the pure energy, light, and emotion of the summer solstice through the language of abstraction. Interpreted through the philosophical framework of Ascension and The Fall, the heavy violet and dark red masses at the base symbolize earth gravity, material foundation, and grounding in the physical world (The Fall). In radiant, purifying contrast, rising light rays, vibrant orange-gold tones, and upward diagonal sweeps express the liberation of the spirit, joy of existence, and continuous spiritual Ascension.
Style & Execution: Masterful palette knife 3D impasto work. The texture is built with exceptionally thick, sculptural layers of oil paint that catch the light and create deep relief and tactility. The color palette combines sunny yellow, orange, violet, cobalt, emerald green, turquoise, and pure white.
Why Invest: • Modern Abstract Artwork: A dynamic and energizing composition that serves as a bold visual anchor for modern interiors. • Museum-Grade Quality: Crafted using the finest European oil paints on high-grade canvas. • Sculptural 3D Impasto Texture: Tactile paint application makes the colors physically tangible and three-dimensional.
The composition establishes a square, powerful, and expressive abstract format unfolding a dynamic explosion of summer colors, movement, and vortex formations. The color expression reveals a rich and vibrant palette—deep violet, burgundy, and cobalt tones intertwining with bursting orange, golden-yellow, emerald, and azure-turquoise nuances. The structural execution relies on exceptional plasticity and masterful 3D impasto—Marchel Yameliev's distinct artistic hand is evident in the thick, relief palette-knife-sculpted strokes that transform oil paint into a living, three-dimensional substance with a rough and dynamic surface. The canvas radiates solar energy, passion, and cosmic rhythm, transforming the abstract landscape into a symbol of material density and the simultaneous aspiration of consciousness toward supreme spiritual Ascension.
